Brittany Marie Callahan is a recent Baldwin Wallace University graduate having earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Studio Art with a focus in photography. Brittany will continue her photographic studies as a Masters of Fine Arts candidate at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. In 2013, she took first place in the Altered Images category of Smithsonian Magazine's 10th Annual International Photography Competition for her photograph Sisterhood. Brittney's commercial and fine art photographs have been featured in publications such as the Plain Dealer, New York Times, Cleveland.com and Baldwin Wallace marketing pamphlets. Her fine art explores the photographic process through lighting techniques, observation, and manipulation. Brittany has a unique ability to morph herself into the subject she so desires. In doing this, she creates a new sense of self-awareness and understanding; psychologically involved in the art-making process.
